The Idaho Juvenile Training Council, in association with the Idaho Association of County Juvenile Justice Administrators and with the support of the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections, has undertaken a Job Task Analysis Study of County Juvenile Detention and Juvenile Probation Officers. The purpose of the study is to ensure that the content of the Academies prepares new officers for the work that awaits them.
The questionnaire that follows asks local Detention and Probation officers whether and how often they perform a particular task. Detention and Probation Supervisors are asked to identify the tasks they expect their Officers to perform and evaluate those tasks in terms of how important proper performance is and when a new Officer should learn to perform that task.
The questionnaire should take 30-60 minutes to complete. For the convenience of personnel who fill out the questionnaire, one can enter and exit the site as needed to allow personnel to perform their duties around completing the survey. Each page that is completed and submitted is saved so one can pick up right where the respondent left off each time.
You may begin by clicking on the appropriate job title below. Sign in with your last name and POST ID number. Please take the time to answer thoughtfully and completely as your input will have a direct role in developing the content of the Basic Detention Officer Academy and Basic Probation Officer Academy.
On behalf of the Juvenile Justice Community we thank you.
